Description

Apartamentos Mediterraneo is a modern white Andalusian- style apartment block, located 200 metres from Torrecilla beach in the tourist town of Nerja, Spain. The 39 air-conditioned studios and apartments have tile floors and open-plan living and dining areas with fully-equipped kitchenettes. All include bathrooms, satellite TV, phones, and pool or mountain views.
Guests can enjoy cocktails and sangria al fresco by the pool, and the informal, Andalusian-style restaurant and bar serves English and Spanish dishes including paella, Sunday roast dinners, and rice dishes. A children's menu is available. If it gets too hot outside, there are billiards, board games and games machines in the cool, tiled games room. Sports fans can catch the latest games thanks to the big screen TV in the lounge. The reception is open around the clock and there is a left luggage storage room. Nearby attractions include the panoramic Balcon de Europa viewpoint which is 500 metres away, the breathtaking Maro Aqueduct three kilometres away, and the village of Frigiliana, popular for wine-tasting, is five kilometres away. Malaga Airport is 45 minutes' drive, 50 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving directions

Guests can pre-book an airport shuttle service (surcharge) by phoning the hotel's reception. Taxi fare from the airport to Nerja costs approximately 60 EUR. The number 19 bus costs about 1 EUR and departs every 30 minutes from the Malaga stop outside the international arrivals hall. Driving directions: From the airport take the N340 motorway and follow the signs in the direction of Motril/Almeria. Take the Nerja exit and follow the signs to the town centre and Playa Torrecilla. Turn left into Avda. Mediterraneo.
